Not everyone has time to book an appointment, take off work, and come to the office for a comprehensive exam. If you would like Dr. Schaefer to take a quick look, he will visit with you during a live video consultation. Our virtual consult process starts by texting us some photos and completes with the live virtual visit. After the visit, we will send you a preliminary diagnosis and treatment plan, which will include BOTH the length of treatment and the cost of treatment.
It is 100% necessary to have an X-ray and in-office follow-up visit to assure that your bite can be corrected and teeth aligned without unforeseen complications. This virtual consult does provide an excellent answer to all four of your main questions: 1) what treatment do I need? 2) how long will take? 3) how much does it cost? 4) When can I get started? And that is our goal, to make the process of getting information about your treatment as safe and convenient as possible - from your home! Dr. Schaefer says to do the best you can on the photos, but he wants you to know that the better your photos are, the easier it is for him to provide an accurate preliminary recommendation. .
